Compassionate Grief Support for All

Grief impacts us all differently. Whether you’re a parent dealing with unimaginable loss, a teen struggling with overwhelming emotions, or a child who expresses pain through play, healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey. At Grandview Grief Center, we offer age-appropriate, trauma-informed grief support services for anyone coping with significant loss. Our services are grounded in evidence-based therapeutic methods and facilitated by licensed clinicians who create a safe and supportive space for healing.

Healing Through Play

Play is the language of childhood. When children experience loss, they often lack the communication skills to express complex emotions. Group play therapy, led by a trained play therapist, allows young ones to explore their grief in a nurturing, peer-supported environment. This evidence-based therapy helps children process emotions, build resilience, and regain a sense of safety and connection as they heal and grow.

Parental Grief Support

The loss of a child is a uniquely profound and devastating form of sorrow. Grief support groups for parents offer a space to mourn, heal, and plan openly. Our licensed clinicians guide parents through strategies to manage grief, foster emotional connection, and navigate differing grieving styles within relationships, allowing families to become stronger as they heal.

Teen grief groups, led by trained mental health professionals, provide a safe space for adolescents to explore their feelings without judgment and learn healthy ways to process their emotions.

Creating Safe Spaces for Grieving Teens

Adolescence is a period of intense growth when teens develop coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, and self-identity. The death of a loved one or a significant loss during this time can profoundly affect these processes, making it harder for teens to navigate grief on their own. Teen grief groups, led by trained mental health professionals, provide a safe space for adolescents to explore their feelings without judgment and learn healthy ways to process their emotions.

Finding Refuge Through Grief

The journey through grief is deeply personal, but healing doesn’t have to happen in isolation. Grandview for Good offers grief support services that help individuals and families transform their lives.
